I love Thanksgiving. As a kid, I always spent the holiday at my grandparent’s house with my extended family. We would all sit down to lunch together for a meal of turkey, stuffing, and other goodies. And in the afternoon, we would rest. The men would watch football and nap, the women would relax and chat, and the kids would play games and get restless. That’s about the point when some Thanksgiving coloring books would have come in handy!

Some say that it is a soothing activity that helps them relax. And other people enjoy the way they get to flex their creative muscles with different supplies (crayons, colored pencils, markers) and colors.

And then there’s the feeling of accomplishment. It’s fun to look back on a picture that you have colored and been like, “I made this!”. And if it’s a design you really like you could even frame it for your wall, or your cubicle.

First of all, check Pinterest. There are so many creators out there who are willing to share their art and printables for free or for a low price. I love to search on Pinterest for different coloring sheets if I’m looking for a specific topic. It’s a great place to look for an activity page (like a turkey coloring page) or other free coloring pages.

You can also check out discount stores like Ollie’s. Or general stores like Target, Walmart, or Barnes & Noble. I have some brands that I always look for though, which is why I do most of my coloring book shopping on Amazon.
