My 2026 February TBR List

Welcome to February! It’s cold and snowy in my part of the world, which means that it’s the perfect time to stay inside and read. I read a bunch of great books in January and I’m looking forward to another great reading month. In today’s blog post, I’m be sharing my 2026 February tbr list.

And if you enjoy today’s blog post, you can check out some more of my monthly tbr lists here.

What is on my 2026 January TBR List?

Here is a list of the books that I would like to read this month! If I don’t manage to read them all, I will add them on to my next month’s tbr list.

The Alphabet Sleuths by Laura Jensen Walker

I’m currently in the middle of this story, but I still have about half the book left read. It’s about a group of women who live in a retirement community and witness a murder. Or actually, one of them commits a murder. By accident. So they ban together to get rid of the body. But more details come to light and they realize that maybe the man that was killed is actually just the beginning of a series of crimes. They will have to work together and use their variety of talents to solve the mystery and save the day.

The writing style was a bit difficult to get into, but I’m finally in the thick of things and it feels more natural now. It’s actually a very good/funny story but I wonder if anyone else finds the writing as clunky as I do?

Half His Age by Jennette McCurdy

I’m not sure what to expect from this one. The premise of this story is about a high school student who gets involved in a secret relationship of sorts with her creative writing teacher. The reviews are mixed and I think that’s because it’s about such a taboo topic. I really enjoyed Jennette’s writing in her memoir that was published a couple of years ago, and am looking forward to reading more of her work.

Sandwich by Catherine Newman

This is a book that I have had on my TBR for a while. I checked it out from Kindle Unlimited and this is finally going to be the month that I finish it. It’s been a while since I’ve started it, so I think I will have to go back to the beginning.

It’s a story from the mother’s pov about a family who goes on a summer vacation together. I find that very wholesome, although I’m sure the family will experience some drama of some sort while they are there.

Lonesome Ridge by Maisey Yates

To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever read a wild west/cowboy romance. The only cowboy books I’ve ever read is the rough riders series by Lorelei James. Hahahah. And I only read the first 2 or 3.

So I am very intrigued by this book. This will be my first time reading anything by author Maisey Yates.

Falling for the Fake Lumberjack by Sara Ney

I used to be more of a voracious romance reader when I was in my early twenties, so it’s been a while since I’ve read a Sara Ney book. This was a “read now” selection on Netgalley and so I decided to check it out. The goal is to finish this one this month and post my review.

Delusions by Cazzie David

I received a review copy of Delusions by Cazzie David, who is the daughter of Larry David. I believe this is her second book. I have not had the chance to read her first yet. I believe this is a collection of nonfiction/essays so I’m looking forward to checking this out. As a millenial, I generally like these kinds of memoirs.

A Few Honorary Mentions:

These are books that I am not making a priority, but that I would still like to find time to read during the month if possible.

  • Almost Ruined by Abby Millsaps is coming out at the very end of the month, and I will absolutely be diving into that!
  • I have an audiobook copy of Without a Clue by Melissa Ferguson to listen to
  • I want to use my Spotify listening hours on Workhorse by Caroline Palmer
