My December Reading Goals

I’m so excited that it’s finally December. I’ve read so many good books this year and I’m hoping to finish out the year strong. I’ve already met my goodreads reading challenge goal, and now I’m just hoping to keep reading and writing reviews until the end of the year.

First, let’s dive into my reading goals for December.

My December Reading Goals

  • Read 6 books this month (and review all of them on my blog)
  • Post every day for Blogmas
  • Finish creating my Netgalley spreadsheet for 2025
  • Set up my reading journal for 2025

My December TBR List

Wreck The Halls by Tessa Bailey

I am currently on hold for this audiobook at the library, and it should be available to me soon. I’m currently 1st in line. Yay! This Christmas romance is about the adult children of two former rockstars. They must work together to get their moms to agree to play a Christmas Eve concert together. The two are complete opposites and must work things out soon in order to receive a big payout.

Faking Christmas by Kerry Winfrey

I am also on hold for this audiobook at the library. As I write this post, I am 9th in line. But I’m really hoping I get to listen to this story by Christmas. It sounds really funny because it’s about a young woman named Laurel who must pull a Christmas hoax, by pretending to have a fake husband, fake kids, and fake farm for Christmas.

Honestly, it kind of reminds me of What Happens at Christmas! Haha. I hope Laurel’s Christmas is less chaotic than that one.

A Home for the Holidays by Taylor Hahn

I was supposed to review this title on the blog and I didn’t get to it yet. Oops! But I hope that’s okay because I’m looking forward to reading it this month to share with you on the blog. This story is about a young woman who is spending her first Christmas without her mother and finds comfort in a new friend and her family for the holidays.

How My Neighbor Stole Christmas by Meghan Quinn

If you’re not familiar with Meghan Quinn, she writes great contemporary romances. The only problem is, they always have a happy ending but they sometimes break your heart. I’m hoping this story is a playful take on The Grinch and doesn’t make me sad this holiday season.

Sleep in Heavenly Pizza by Mindy Quigley

I’m new to this cozy mystery series, but I want to check it out because it’s a winter/Christmas seasonal story. The main character Delilah runs a pizza place and is catering a Chrismukkah event one night when a party guest goes missing. When the body turns up in an ice sculpture in town (how? what? lol) she has to help get to the bottom of it and find out who the killer is.

And for the rest of my TBR? I’m not sure. Depending on how fast my library holds come in I might have some other audiobooks to check out this month.

What are you planning to read this month? Let me know in the comments. And I hope you have a lovely December.
