One of my goals for 2027 is to catch up on all of One of my goals for 2027 is to catch up on all of the books that I have on my bookshelf that I haven’t read yet. 📚 My current read is The Other Black Girl by Zakiya Dalia Harris. I picked this one up from @bookofthemonth a while ago. I love that it’s a story that takes place in the publishing industry. I can tell something weird is going on with Hazel, but I don’t know what… hopefully I can finish it this weekend to find out the truth! #books #reading #bookrecs #bookworm #mystery
One of the best things about our trip to Montreal One of the best things about our trip to Montreal was getting to visit all of the bookstores within walking distance of our airBNB. Before grabbing dinner on our last night, I stopped at Librairie De Stiil Bookstore. I really enjoyed getting to browse the shelves, and made a list of new titles and authors that I want to check out. I knew I wanted to purchase a book as a souvenir, and I picked Hollywood Ending by John Green. His YA fiction always meant so much to me, so I’m really excited to check out his first adult novel! #hollywoodending #booksbooksbooks #montreal #indiebookstores #johngreen

I’ve been listening to an audiobook version of The I’ve been listening to an audiobook version of The Best Christmas Ever by Sarah Morgan, and it is so cute. It’s about an unlikely group of 7 (plus 4 cats 🐈‍⬛) who spend Christmas together after they all wind up in a terrible New England snowstorm. There’s 3 perspectives, and I honestly love all of the characters. I’m about 40% of the way through and I have a feeling it’s going to be a VERY INTERESTING Christmas of all of them. 🎄 My fave character is Elsie, a very precocious 8 year old who just might be warming Mabel’s heart. ❤️ I’ve been listening on my commute and on my evening walks. Hoping to finish it on my Fall walk tomorrow. As you can tell from this picture, the leaves are so pretty right now. 🍁 🍂 #books #reading #audiobooks #christmasbooks #christmasromance
