Since Change of Plans by Sarah Dessen is on my Jun Since Change of Plans by Sarah Dessen is on my June TBR list, I wanted to share a little bit of my reading history with her. 📖 My first Sarah Dessen book was This Lullaby. My Mom got it for me to read on my way to music camp when I was 16. And then when I got to music camp and met my roommates Sarah and Yoon they told me how much they loved her and recommended The Truth About Forever. Her books will always mean so much to me because they got me so excited about reading. So even though I don’t read YA much anymore, I’m so excited to read Change of Plans. Started a new audiobook today, and continued on my Started a new audiobook today, and continued on my evening walk 🎧 The author’s note really had me rolling where she was like “this is not based off ANYONE’s life and I actually wrote this years ago”. It was very rainy in Delaware this past weekend. S It was very rainy in Delaware this past weekend. So I got a lot of reading done 📚 ☔️ I finished my re-read of Absolutely Normal Chaos by Sharon Creech which was one of my favorite books when I was a kid. I related deeply to Mary Lou 😂 I continued to listen to the audiobook of The Hot Honey Hideaway. It’s not a super unique story but I’m finding it very charming. The cozy vibes are 💯 and it’s keeping me entertained on my daily walks. I read a few chapters of The Forty Year Grudge. This is book 2 in a mystery series about a detective and her assistant. I love it so far. In this book they are investigating a mystery at a sorority reunion. And finally, I started Big Fan. I’m not super into it yet but hope I can devote more time to it this weekend. ☺️ #books #reading #bookstagram #bookish #readinglist

I baked a cake this weekend! 🎂 I was a little nerv I baked a cake this weekend! 🎂 I was a little nervous because it took a lot longer to bake than the recipe said, but it turned out well. My book of the month pick this month is Dissection My book of the month pick this month is Dissection of a Murder by Jo Murray! I hadn’t heard of this one before but the title really caught my attention. It’s about a lawyer who is in for a very interesting predicament when the defendant is dead set (pun intended) on having her defend him. Meanwhile, she’s up against a ruthless prosecutor who just happens to be her husband 😬 Sounds like a very interesting case to me! For my add on I picked Happiness & Love by Zoe Dubno. The cover made me laugh but I thought the plots sounded weird and fun. That’s what I’m hoping for 😂 #books #reading #botm #bookofthemonth #bookhaul
