My Reading Journey
How I Became a Book Blogger
I’ve been a big reader since childhood. My Mom used to pack up my two brothers and I into the mini van and take us on weekly trips to the library. We would check out stacks of books that were almost too heavy to carry, and read them throughout the week.
At first my favorite books were the Frog & Toad series by Arnold Lobel but I soon graduated to The Babysitter’s Club and Goosebumps. I also found myself enjoying Judy Blume, Sharon Creech, and Meg Cabot. The Princess Diaries is the first young adult book that I remember really enjoying and I still consider it to be my favorite book today.
I had a book blog in my late teens where I wrote reviews of everything that I read, but that blog is no longer around. I’m glad because I think my writing chops have really improved since that blog existed.
This blog began back in 2023 as a way to keep track of my reading as well as share my thoughts on what I read. Here you’ll find a collection of book reviews, books lists, and other recommendations.
In my daily life I can be a bit on the reserved side, so I love to share my thoughts and opinions here, where no one can interrupt or talk over me.

I love to read and have read quite a few books in my lifetime. According to Goodreads, I’m almost at 1000.
My goal here on the blog is to give you COMPLETELY honest reviews and tell you exactly what I think. Books have gone up in price and I don’t want you to spend money on something I think you won’t enjoy. That would be a shame, wouldn’t it?
