Mary Jane Sneakers are my New Obsession!

If I had to describe my fashion sense, I would say I like to be cute and comfortable. I love cozy materials, and I also love sneakers. It’s very important for my feet to be comfortable. So when I first started seeing the puma ballet sneakers in photos I was like, “Ooh! Those are cute!”. I’ve been researching a lot since then and there are so many styles that I love. In today’s blog post, I’m going to be sharing why ballet and maryjane sneakers are my new obsession!

What Caught my Eye About Ballet and Mary Jane Sneakers?

To start with, I work in an office that allows casual dress. For Monday through Friday, we are allowed to wear nicer casual clothes. So when I dress for work I typically opts for jeans or similar pants, a nice blouse or sweater, and flats or clean/nicer sneakers.

I got a pair of the toms trvl lite sneakers a couple of years ago and I love them. So comfy! But that was a couple of years ago and so I’ve been wanting a bit of a refresh for fall.

I like the Mary Jane Sneakers for a couple of reasons:

• Visually, they feel similar to flats.
• They come in a lot of different colors
• They look really comfortable, which is perfect for a day at the office. I have a standing desk so I am often moving around or on my feet during the day.
• They are cute! I love the strap that some have. I also like the elastric straps on others.

Which Ballet and Mary Jane Sneakers are on my Vision Board?

When I first started to shop, I made a list of the ones that I thought were the cutest. It’s important to visualize! lol I’ll share some of my favorites below.

I really like the Adidas pair because of the elasitc straps! I think the light blue pair would be perfect for when I switch to a pair of comfy shoes to dance at my wedding. Haha. What are your thoughts?

Which Pair Did I Buy?

I decided to start out with the Cloud Form Mary Jane Shoes in Black. They have above a 4 star rating and there was a 10% off coupon available which felt right to me.

What are my thoughts on them? I love the look. I’ve worn them to work quite a few times and they are very comfy. They do run wide in my opinion, so I probably could have gone a 1/2 size down. They fit okay though. I just have to wear the velcro strap a little tighter.

Will I Buy Another Pair?

Yes. I think that my next pair will be the Mary Jane Barreda shoe. I want to get a comfy pair of shoes for after my wedding ceremony, and since my main shoes will be blue, I also want to get a blue pair of dancing shoes.
